McGriff Seibels & Williams

BlueVolt, the leading provider of online Learning Management Systems (LMS) for the construction, manufacturing and service industries, recently partnered with McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc., to enhance its training program with a new online university geared toward contractors.

McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc. is the sixth largest insurance brokerage in the United States, specializing in construction risk services, commercial insurance and employee benefits, health, wellness, and retirement programs.

“We see our role as that of a partner to our customers rather than just a service provider,” said Robert Drew, senior vice president at McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc. “A properly trained workforce can save you thousands of dollars in lost time and insurance costs but in-person training can be time consuming, expensive – and not very effective. Now BlueVolt and McGriff offer an easier way to give contractors that safety and HR training they need; McGriff University.”

McGriff University, powered by BlueVolt, offers more than 60 online courses in a wide range of topics from Hazardous Energy Control to Privacy Laws and Practices and Leading a High-Performance Team. The BlueVolt LMS provides McGriff customers with self-driven, online courses that are an integral part of reducing on-the-job accidents, lowering insurance claims, lowering compliance issues and violation fines, and reducing productivity loss and work stoppage. BlueVolt’s powerful reporting features allow University administrators to easily monitor user progress in the training program, adjust lessons as necessary, and provide extra help to those who need it.

“BlueVolt is excited to work with McGriff, Seibels & Williams, Inc.,” said Lisa Bordeaux, director of sales and business development for BlueVolt. “Our LMS enhances the company’s training efforts, which will further McGriff’s commitment to help contractors exceed industry standards.”

Jim Crawford, project manager for Vision 20/20, recognizes the importance of a solid Learning Management System in helping the organization achieve its fire prevention goals. “BlueVolt has a great deal of experience and expertise in online training that we plan to incorporate into our training efforts for fire service and related safety professionals - to achieve increased fire prevention,” said Crawford.

“We are excited to partner with Vision 20/20 to help them improve fire safety training through our Learning Management System,” said Kelley Shirazi, national account manager for BlueVolt. “Online training is a fast, efficient and uncomplicated way to ensure the latest fire safety and prevention education is relayed to the important men and women who risk their lives every day to fight fires.”
