Belinda Runkle

Director of Engineering

Belinda is responsible for the LMS platform development, product management, IT operations and technical support functions. Previously, Belinda was the director of development at Fios, Inc., where she spent nine years working in operations management, professional services engineering, product development and technical operations. Belinda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in art and anthropology from Centre College. Belinda enjoys learning about new technologies, photography and snowboarding.

Tony Asche

Senior Software Engineer

Tony provides software design, maintainable code and automated tests for features implemented within the BlueVolt LMS. He also collaborates with a team of managers and stakeholders on defining project requirements and estimating development efforts. Outside of the office, Tony spends time on his sailboat, runs regularly and has recently begun brewing his own beer.

Abby Miles

Training & Associate Product Manager

Abby is a vital part of the company’s software development team as the designated customer advocate. She develops training and usability programs and advocates for new features and functionality that will best serve our customers. Abby is a graduate of the University of Portland, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and marketing. Abby describes herself as a Portland Trail Blazers fanatic and plays co-ed basketball for a local league. Off the court, she paints, gardens, camps and frequents plenty of the farmers’ markets around Portland.

Toto Vo

IT Manager

As IT manager, Toto keeps all BlueVolt’s IT systems and infrastructure running smoothly. Before joining BlueVolt in 2006, he worked at opus:interactive and Pop Art. Toto’s enjoys photography, running, and being a ninja.

Jeff Mishima

Senior Software Engineer

Jeff works with the BlueVolt development team, designing and developing new LMS functionality while maintaining BlueVolt’s current LMS systems. Though a recent addition to the BlueVolt team, Jeff is no stranger to software programming—he started in grade school! Outside of the office, Jeff is a Muay Thai kickboxer and competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Scott Dixon

Senior Software Engineer

Scott is responsible for software design, coding and automated testing for features in the BlueVolt LMS. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and worked as a software developer for IBM and Merrill Lynch prior to joining BlueVolt. Scott enjoys spending his time with his family and watching University of Oregon’s football team. Go Ducks!

Ron Astin

Software Developer

As a software developer for BlueVolt, Ron maintains and extends the company’s Drupal portal sites. He is also studying computer science at Portland State University. Prior to joining BlueVolt, Ron served as a product developer, a software developer and production engineer. Ron enjoys cooking, sailing and playing bass guitar.
