As president and CEO at BlueTech, Don leads the company and the growth of its two primary products, BlueVolt.com, a leading online learning management system, and OpenSesame.com, an online marketplace for e-learning content. Prior to founding BlueTech, Don was president at Banfield, The Pet Hospital and senior vice president of strategy and logistics at PetSmart. Both companies he joined in their infancy. Don received an MBA from Harvard Business School and completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering and economics at Rice University. He enjoys boating on the Willamette River and skiing, snowboarding, and hiking in the Cascade mountains with his family.
In her current role, Lisa works closely with BlueVolt customers and partners to bring them relevant, timely content. For the past ten years, Lisa directly involved herself in growing the business from a conceptual phase to where it is today – delivering between 2,500 and 5,000 courses per week. Under her leadership, BlueVolt developed a customer base that includes companies like BlueHawk, IMARK, Sphere 1, Eaton, Werner, Broan Nutone, Panasonic, and hundreds of manufacturers, distributors and thousands of skilled professionals. In addition, Lisa helped BlueVolt secure a 40% increase in sales, on average, year-over-year for the past eight years. Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys playing soccer, hiking through the Columbia River Gorge and spending time with her two boys.
Chris oversees custom course development and professional services for BlueVolt. She was most recently in charge of the internal creative team at Knowledge Learning Corp., and has also worked for Via Training, Waggener Edstrom, and Medicalogic on clients such as HP and Microsoft. She attended Carnegie Mellon University and IVY School of Professional Art.
Belinda is responsible for the LMS platform development, product management, IT operations and technical support functions. Previously, Belinda was the director of development at Fios, Inc., where she spent nine years working in operations management, professional services engineering, product development and technical operations. Belinda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in art and anthropology from Centre College. Belinda enjoys learning about new technologies, photography and snowboarding.
