To celebrate this milestone, all users who completed any course through the BlueVolt LMS during the promotional period were automatically entered in a drawing to win a grand prize vacation to the destination of the winner’s choice. Fifty runner-up prizes (one from each state) of 25 $BlueBucks, which are redeemable as virtual gift cards from hundreds of merchants, were also available.
Out of 65,980 entries, the grand prize winner was Larry Dalton of Murfreesboro, Tenn. who completed courses from Westinghouse Lighting’s® online University, powered by BlueVolt. Dalton works as an outside sales representative for Fox-Rowden-McBrayer Inc., an electrical manufacturers’ representative company.
“I am very pleased with the ease of operation as well as the timeframe to complete each module in Westinghouse’s University. It doesn’t take all night to complete a course,” said Dalton. “I prefer online training far more than classroom training as it allows you to work at your own pace.”
Dalton and his wife will use the grand prize winnings to take a trip to Dallas, Texas to visit their youngest son.
One of the runners-up, Janet Gruszeczka from Iowa, said, “The knowledge you gain from these classes is exceptional! I have expanded my electrical knowledge simply by following the courses. The $BlueBucks are just an added bonus.”
