BlueVolt® Honors Winners of First Annual A-D Knowledge@Noon Awards
Portland, ORE. – Winners in five A-D divisions claim their awards at A-D North American Meetings.
- Highest Participation in a Manufacturer Event
- Most Employee Attendance by a Distributor
- Participation by an Individual Distributor Employee.
The winning manufacturer and distributor companies were presented with glass plaques at their respective A-D North American Meetings and the distributor employees received a certificate and 100 $BlueBucks to honor their accomplishments. $BlueBucks are valuable reward points redeemable by participants who complete training on BlueVolt.
“We are very excited to recognize and reward those who have had success with A-D’s Knowledge@Noon program,” said Sharon Dunigan, account executive at BlueVolt. “We know it to be a very effective way for A-D affiliates to improve their knowledge and ultimately sell more products.”
In the Plumbing, PVF and HVAC Divisions, the winning manufacturer was Broan-Nutone with 354 enrollments. Murray Supply won the distributor award with 11.2 enrollments per employee and 9.7 completions per employee. Stephan Spearman, an employee of distributor Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc., was the individual winner with 40 enrollments and 39 completions.
In the Electrical USA and Canada Divisions, Philips Lighting was the manufacturer winner with 420 enrollments. The distributor awarded was Allied Electric Motor Service, Inc. with 24.8 enrollments per employee and 23.6 completions per employee. Derek Quenneville, of Revco Electrical Supply Inc., had 44 enrollments and 35 completions to win the distributor employee award.
“After 24 years at Revco Electrical Supply, Derek still realizes the importance of product knowledge in order to stay on top of his game,” said Michael Velys Sr, general manager at Revco Electrical Supply Inc.
In the Industrial Division, the manufacturer awarded was Brady with 189 enrollments. Alro Industrial Supply, with 2.3 enrollments per employee and 2.1 completions per employee, won the distributor award. Larry Johnson of Trumbull Industries, Inc. had 21 enrollments and 19 completions to earn the distributor employee award.
